What's the dress code?

Black tie optional means dress to impress—tuxedos and floor-length gowns are welcome, but a dark suit or elegant cocktail dress works beautifully too. Think formal evening attire.


Where should we stay?

We have two room blocks booked across the street from each other—The Fitzpatrick and Hotel 57. You can find more info on these blocks under the "Travel" tab of our site. Of course, please feel free to stay wherever you'd like. The cut-off for these room blocks is July 14. Book early—rooms go fast in the summer!


Will there be transportation between the ceremony and reception?

Yes, we will have the Love Express leaving the Fitzpatrick at 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to St. Ignatius Loyola. If you're staying at Hotel 57, please walk across the street to the Fitzpatrick to catch the Love Express. Following the 3 p.m. Wedding Ceremony, we will have one shuttle headed back to the hotel at 4 p.m. and one going straight to the Sanctuary to start the party! The 4 p.m. shuttle back to the hotel will leave at 5 p.m. to head to the Cocktail Hour. You can find the full detailed schedule on the Love Express tab of the website.


Will there be parking available at the hotels?

The Fitzpatrick has self parking available at a nearby garage for a discounted daily rate and rates vary by day and vehicle type. Hotel 57 offers self-parking at iPark Garage (150 East 58th Street), located one block away for $55 per night for standard vehicles and $65 per night for SUVs.


Is there parking at St. Ignatius Loyola or at The Sanctuary?

There will be street parking around St. Ignatius Loyola (however, it is NYC!) and there will be spots available at the Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island outside the venue. If you'd like a spot at the Sanctuary, please reach out to mikelovesmadeline@gmail.com.


What airport should we fly into?

We would recommend LaGuardia Airport. However, there are other options including Newark Liberty International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport .


Can we take the train?

Yes, the Amtrak is a great way to get around the Northeast. Penn Station is centrally located and easy to get to both hotel blocks.


We're coming from out of town. Do we need to rent a car?

Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are available and we'd recommend getting around that way rather than renting a car that you then have to park overnight.


What time should we arrive?

Please arrive on August 22nd at St. Ignatius before 2:45 p.m. to ensure a prompt start.


Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The Ceremony is inside and the reception is a combo of inside and outside.


What's the weather typically like that time of year?

Expect warm, sunny days, often with low humidity, feeling like the mid-80s, perfect for outdoor activities.


Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, this is an adults-only event.


When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by July 21st. If anything changes post your RSVP, please email mikelovesmadeline@gmail.com.


How do we RSVP?

Please RSVP via the insert included in your wedding invitation bundle.


Can we bring a plus-one?

Only if your invite states so.


Are we invited to the Rehearsal Dinner?

Only if you received a separate invitation.


Will there be a welcome party?

Yes, at Bloom's Tavern (208 E 58th St, New York, NY 10022) from 7-10 pm on August 21st. Enjoy drinks compliments of the soon-to-be Kellys!


Will there be an afterparty?

Yes, at The Blasket Pub (1085 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10022). We will have a shuttle drop off after the reception. This is a four minute walk back to the hotel blocks.


Will there be any events on Sunday?

Yes, join us back at Bloom's Tavern (208 E 58th St, New York, NY 10022) for a farewell brunch 9-11 am.
